The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Kiyomizu was constructed to a plan that preserved and incorporated the historic schoolhouse of the former Kiyomizu Elementary School, which was relocated and rebuilt on this site in 1933. The plan combines respect for the original features with the introduction of modern levels of comfort and amenity in an interior design that evokes a nostalgic mood at every turn.
