Extending from the south exit of Karuizawa Station is one of Japan’s most impressive highland resort areas. With 95 times the area of the Tokyo Dome, it boasts a shopping plaza, golf course, ski resort, and other amenities. Dotted among the trees here is a cluster of detached chalets exactly matching the image of Karuizawa as a highland resort. Perfectly situated, the chalets with their varied interiors accommodate four to eight guests each. From the terrace of their chalet, guests can experience the natural environment of Karuizawa up close, as they enjoy the changing seasons in the landscape and breathe in the scent of wood. The grounds include a total of eight tennis courts with views of Mt. Asama, offering the option of filming recreational tennis scenes with the chalets as backdrop.
