This is the tallest high-rise hotel in Kushiro and also the one with the most guestrooms. It is moreover conveniently located around 10 minutes’ walk from JR Kushiro Station with an airport bus stop right outside. Despite its city center location, the hotel enjoys a tranquil setting and can serve as a touring base for eastern Hokkaido. Twin rooms have views toward what is said to be one of the world’s three greatest sunset spots, while single rooms overlook the city of Kushiro. The hotel is within walking distance of the city’s entertainment district (around 10 minutes), where guests can enjoy the seafood that is one of the attractions of Kushiro as well as other local delicacies. The Kushiro Wetland, Japan’s largest, is around 40 minutes’ drive away. Apart from admiring the scenery from the lookout points and strolling along the outdoor wooden walkways, activities such as a relaxing canoe ride down the Kushiro River are also recommended.
