The facility operates as an indoor ski slope in winter and in summer runs a water festival with a series of giant waterslides. Offering a location close to central Tokyo for filming of skiing and snowboarding, the Prince Snow Resort Sayama is an all-weather facility with a covered slope 300 meters in length and 30 meters in width. There are two snow escalators, one 110 meters long and 1 meter wide and the other measuring 84 meters by 1 meter. In summer the facility runs a water festival. The waterslides are in two sizes. The long slide descends in a single 220-meter run from the top of the slope, while the family slides start from the middle of the slope and are suitable for children as well as adults. Slide users sit in a special dinghy that is carried along by the flow of the water and, if preferred, do not need to change into swimwear.
