Seeing Lake Biwa from aboard a pleasure cruiser is a different experience to seeing it from the shore and reveals the lake in all its grandeur.
We operate boat services to islands in Lake Biwa, including scheduled services and special services for seasonal events. Chikubushima Island is home to Hogonji Temple, the thirtieth temple of the Saigoku Kannon pilgrimage, as well as Tsukubusuma Shrine. Takeishima Island is itself regarded as sacred ground.
We also operate scheduled summer services to Mizushima Island, an uninhabited island in Fukui Prefecture.
